Gluten-Free Family Favorite: Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
My daughters request this recipe almost every week, and they absolutely love it. Despite trying numerous banana bread recipes, this one stands out - it never fails or disappoints, and the blend of flavors is simply perfect. Surprisingly, your family and friends won’t even realize it’s gluten-free! I must admit, I was never a fan of chocolate chips with bananas, but this combination is incredibly tasty.
Unlike other recipes I’ve experimented with, where the toothpick comes out clean, but the bread falls and turns mushy on top, this one doesn’t have that issue.
To make it, you’ll need a food scale for accurate measurements, which I find easier than using measuring cups. Just zero it out and add to the bowls for wet and dry ingredients.
For gluten-free perfection, I rely on Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free 1-to1 Baking Flour and Almond Flour. This combination never disappoints, and you’ll have great results! My girls love to use mini chocolate chips vs the regular size as it gives the bread a bit of a richer flavor.
